DealRail is a commercial finance brokerage with its own origination platform underneath it, based in Pompano Beach, Florida.
Why we built the platform first.
Commercial lending runs on email threads, spreadsheets and memory. Borrowers send the same document three times. Files go quiet for a week. Nobody can say where anything stands without asking somebody who is on a call.
We built the system we wanted to work in: document checklists generated from the deal, a portal where the borrower and the referring partner can see the file move, automatic follow-up on anything outstanding, and lender matching that routes a file to the capital sources whose appetite actually fits it.
The brokerage and the software are the same company on purpose. Every friction we hit on a live deal gets fixed in the product.
